Are you, or are you soon-to-be, a law graduate?
Targeted training opportunities exist to encourage law graduates to work in publicly funded legal assistance services for their Professional Legal Training (PLT) work experience and placements. These services are all based in regional, rural and remote Australia and include regional Legal Aid offices, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services, Community Legal Centres and Family Violence Prevention Legal Services.
This national project allows law graduates to satisfy their PLT placement and work experience requirements and in the process also provides much needed legal resources to regional, rural and remote Australians and their communities. The Practical Legal Training providers and the legal assistance services collaborate to provide supervision support.
